An issue with EMF is micro cracking of the paint, which can result in corrosion of the metal foil and subsequent loss of conductivity. Body motions of flying animals can be very complex, especially when the body parts are greatly flexible and they interact with the surrounding fluid. The wing kinematics of an animal flight is governed by a large number of variables and thus the measurement of complete flapping flight is not so simple, making it very complex to understand the contribution of each parameter to the performance and hence, to decide the important parameters for constructing the kinematic model of a bat is nearly impossible. In this paper, the influence of each parameter is uncovered and the variables that a specified reconstruction of bat flight should include in order to maximally reconstruct actual dimensional complexity, have been presented in detail. The effects of the different kinematic parameters on the lift coefficient are being resulted. The computation analysis of the lift coefficient for different camber thicknesses and various wing areas is done by unsteady thin airfoil theory and vortex lattice method, respectively.

Determining vehicle mirrors effectiveness is the present novel ergonomic method in this research about how its performance affects School Bus safety. The unique impact classification system developed in advance achieves unique mathematic algorithm count for vehicle impact structure in a 3-dimensional vehicle model. The paper discusses principle experimental data-base language conversion in an Excel algorithm and with a, - factor plan observation diagram. Given the definition of accident in commercial motor vehicle applications, the study conducts a field collision follow-up record. The study based on factual data of a 50 fleet units, in observation between 2007 and 2009. This study classified the statistical spreading impact zones analysis in a 3-dimensional vehicle model calculation. Results are there discussed in paper in the ergonomic concept of hygienic operator performance responsibility. The technique of the research involves mathematical algorithms and impact analysis statistics, including the definition of vehicle damage structure indexing and driver mirror efficiency.

All Automotive companies conduct various performance and Endurance tests on automotive bodies, doors by using Pneumatic Actuators. These Actuators can only give linear or rotary motion. Therefore these can neither simulate the complex motion of Human arm nor can they simulate the Force and pressure induced by the Human palm or Human back on the body domain parts. Each test need to have different test setup. This paper discusses how a system of industrial Robot coupled with intelligent Gripper with sensors and feedback signal to robot can be used to simulate the effect of Human touch during testing.

The Team aims towards designing, validating and fabricating a three wheeled hybrid human powered electric vehicle, which has a capability to act as a good viable option for city local transportation. The vehicle would be capable of being driven electrically as well as by a single driver. There are three proposed models of the vehicle: racing, commercial and agricultural. Team designed and manufactured the racing model in their college campus to test the vehicle in the extremities. All other models are designed based on the success of the racing model. The vehicle is designed keeping ergonomics and value engineering in mind. The vehicle is designed to give high performance at a lower rate. The racing design is capable of carrying two riders, of 5′7″ height and weighing 75 kg maintaining a average speed of 28km/hr. Our Vehicle further is designed keeping in view the future aspect by using green filters for rural Indian population and innovative battery charging assist for city conditions.

Modeling of driver plays an important role in predicting vehicle performance accurately by a forward looking vehicle system models. It is quite difficult to capture driver behavior accurately as different driver behaves differently based on his/her judgment & reflex action. In this paper an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) based driver model is developed & compared with a traditional PID based driver model. The ANN driver model is developed based on a real accelerator pedal by a driver to follow standard drive cycle for a medium duty truck on a chassis dynamometer. The proposed ANN driver model is simulated with a validated vehicle model and comparison shows that the ANN driver model predicts vehicle performance better than PID based driver model. This method of developing driver model would be useful to improve performance prediction & control algorithm development using a vehicle system model.

Greater customer awareness is driving the automotive industry to constantly look to innovate and ensure that greater time, efforts and considerable resources are spent in developing a better vehicle. As we move away from noisy vehicles, the differentiating parameter in vehicles is the perception of quality in the vehicle noise or sound. As the masking effect due to overall vehicle noise level abates, many low noise sources gain prominence, which directly influences the perception of noise refinement. Hence, the concept of vehicle interior noise is not only limited to lower noise levels but has also extended to better sound quality (SQ). SQ technique involves use of relevant parameters for quantifying a subjective quality into an objective quantity. This paper will look at parameters relevant to subjective perception of vehicle interior noise and consider a benchmarking methodology targeting vehicle sound quality. A few vehicle test conditions relevant for vehicle SQ perception were identified.
