Commercial Aircraft Hydraulic Systems focuses on the operational principles and design technology of aircraft hydraulic systems, including the hydraulic power supply and actuation system and describing new types of structures and components such as the 2H/2E structure design method and the use of electro hydrostatic actuators (EHAs). Based on the commercial aircraft hydraulic system, this is the first textbook that describes the whole lifecycle of integrated design, analysis, and assessment methods and technologies, enabling readers to tackle challenging high-pressure and high-power hydraulic system problems in university research and industrial contexts.

Book
Ahmed Abu Hanieh
The idea of this book came out after five years of teaching the fluid power control course in Birzeit University besides to the long experience of the author in the real hydraulic and pneumatic systems which is reflected on the different applications of the discussed circuits. Most of the existing books in this field discuss the hydraulic and pneumatic systems in concentrating on the design and components of the system without going deep enough into the problem of dynamic modeling and control of these systems. This book attempts to blend theoretical modeling and practical understanding of fluid power systems by using modern control theory based on implementing Newton’s second law in second order differential equations transformed into direct relationships between inputs and outputs via transfer functions or state space approach.

David R. Dowling, Ira M. Cohen, Pijush K. Kundu
Fluid mechanics, the study of how fluids behave and interact under various forces, and in various applied situations-whether in the liquid or gaseous state or both-is introduced and comprehensively covered in this widely adopted text. Revised and updated by Dr. David Dowling, Fluid Mechanics, Fifth Edition is suitable for both a first or second course in fluid mechanics at the graduate or advanced undergraduate level. The leading advanced general text on fluid mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, 5th edition, includes a free copy of the DVD "Multimedia Fluid Mechanics," second edition. With the inclusion of the DVD, students can gain additional insight about fluid flows through nearly 1,000 fluids video clips, can conduct flow simulations in any of more than 20 virtual labs and simulations, and can view dozens of other new interactive demonstrations and animations, thereby enhancing their fluid mechanics learning experience.
